Horse Races, Wiener Dogs & a Day at Colonial Downs!

Join your Kingsmill Yacht Club friends for a lively day at Colonial Downs, where exciting thoroughbred horse racing meets one of the most entertaining events of the season — the always-popular Wiener Dog Races on the main track!

KYC members will enjoy the afternoon from two connected private suites, complete with a private bartender offering a cash bar, plenty of comfortable space, and a generous spread of race-day favorites. Suite access begins at noon and continues until approximately 4:30 p.m., when the races conclude.

Food
Enjoy hot dogs, smash burgers, handheld sandwiches, meatball sliders, assorted salads, and desserts throughout the afternoon. Outside food and drink not allowed.

Transportation
Patriots Shuttle limos will depart from the Mounts Bay parking lot at 11:00 a.m. and will leave Colonial Downs promptly at 5:30 p.m. The extra time after the races gives guests a chance to explore the grounds or try their luck at Rosie’s Casino and its on-site slot machines.

Cost
$85 per person, whether or not you use the provided transportation.

Attendance is limited to 60 people, and registration will open to Yacht Club members first.
